Blood Drive At Fluor Field On Sunday, August 29

Due to South Carolina’s critically low blood supply as well as an increase in demand for donated blood from Upstate hospitals, The Blood Connection is in dire need of blood donations.

On Sunday, Aug. 29, the Blood Connection is partnering with the Greenville Drive to host the “Lifesaver League” blood drive.

According to organizers, the “Lifesaver League” blood drive will take place at Flour Field from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each contributor will also receive a $10 gift card, an exclusive Lifesaver League hat, and a voucher for a future Drive game, according to the organizers.

Donating blood during a time of need has an impact on patients at all of the Upstate’s hospitals. Kindly help get the news out so that the blood supply can return to normal.

Donors can visit the Blood Connection website to make an appointment.
