AT&T invests $10K to support Greenville Tech African American scholars initiative

The Greenville Tech Foundation announced Sept. 10 it has received a $10,000 investment from AT&T to support its African American Male Scholars Initiative.

“We are deeply grateful for AT&T’s generous support of the AAMSI program,” said Ann Wright, vice president for advancement at Greenville Tech Foundation. “This funding is not just a contribution but a lifeline that will enable us to provide critical resources such as textbook stipends, lab fees and wrap-around services that are vital to the academic and personal success of our students. With AT&T’s backing, we can continue to build on the program’s success and make a lasting impact on the lives of these young men.”

Since its inception in 2019, the AAMSI program has worked to offer individualized support, mentorship and comprehensive services to its participants.
