A Bourbon, BBQ, & Bacon Festival Will Be Held In Greenville In November

This November, Greenville will host the first Hog & Barrel: A Bourbon, BBQ, and Bacon Festival.

The Festival, which will run from Friday, November 5, through Sunday, November 7, at the historic Old Cigar Warehouse, will feature everything from special bourbon tastings to live music to a Sunday brunch.

On November 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., sponsors and Super VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet master distillers, national brand ambassadors, and distillery owners at the Meet The Makers event.

“Bourbonpalooza,” which will include games and live music by Jake Bartley Band and 3 & Twenty, will take place on November 6 from 1-6 p.m. Priority and VIP ticket holders can also partake in The Bourbon Experience, which includes tastings of over 30 different bourbons.

“Makin’ Bacon Bourbon Brunch,” on Nov. 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., will feature live music by Corey Stephenson and classic brunch cocktails with a bourbon twist, such as Apple Cider Bourbon Mimosas and Bourbon Bloody Marys.

Aside from the fun, the Hog & Barrel Festival includes a culinary and cocktail competition with $5,000 in cash prizes offered to 15 “Best Of” categories such as best barbecue, best bourbon-based dish, best bacon dish, best bourbon cocktail, best dessert, and more.

The Festival will also raise funds for The Culinary Institute of the Carolinas at Greenville Technical College.

Tickets are available for purchase at www.hogandbarrelfestival.com beginning July 19th.
