10-Passenger Limit on Greenlink Buses Effective April 2

In a news release, Greenlink has limited capacity on all fixed-route buses to 10 passengers to meet social distancing requirements.
This means if the bus has already reached its maximum capacity, bus drivers will bypass bus stops and won’t allow customers to board until an existing passenger disembarks. The 10-passenger seat limit will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To remain operational amid the COVID-19 crisis, Greenlink has taken additional safety precautions including rear door boarding only and increased sanitation efforts. Buses are disinfected four times a day, and drivers’ work stations are wiped down every two hours.
Greenlink is also implementing a “zero fare” policy so customers are not required to pay to ride the bus.
